International Conference on Psychiatry and Neurorestoratology
(ICPN2026)&
International Symposium on Syringomyelia and Cerebrospinal Fluid Dynamics
The ICPN2026 International Conference on Psychiatry and Neurorestoratology will be held in November 20-22, 2026. The central theme of this year’s conference is “Pathways to Wellbeing.”
Since the inception of the ICPN series, we have been dedicated to fostering academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of psychiatry and neurorestoratology. The previous five conferences have witnessed remarkable contributions from global researchers in understanding the mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disorders, advancing clinical diagnostics and therapeutics, and innovating neurorehabilitation strategies. Yet, despite rapid technological progress, the global burden of mental and neurological illnesses remains immense. It is against this backdrop that we have chosen “Pathways to Wellbeing” as the guiding theme for ICPN2026—to move beyond the traditional disease‑centric model and to explore the multifaceted routes from brain health to holistic wellbeing.
“Wellbeing” here means far more than the absence of illness; it encompasses psychological resilience, social connectedness, meaning in life, and full functional recovery of the nervous system. This theme reflects the ongoing paradigm shift in psychiatry and neurorestoratology—from simply “repairing damage” to actively “promoting overall health and flourishing”—and underscores our deep commitment to treating each patient as a whole person.
We warmly look forward to welcoming you in Zhengzhou, or connecting with you online, to discuss, share, and move forward together.
