The 2nd International Conference on Psychiatry and Neurorestoratology (ICPN2022)& International Symposium on Syringomyelia and Cerebrospinal Fluid Dynamics has come to a successful conclusion on the afternoon of December 24, 2022 in Zhengzhou.

The conference was held by Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University via on site and Tencent Meeting/VOOV. More than 80,000 physicians and medical practitioners from hospitals all over the country watched the live streaming of the conference and participated in the academic exchanges.

The conference was presided over by the Executive Chairman Professor Lou Yongli, Director of Neurospinal Surgery (Syringomyelia Specialty) of Zhengzhou Central Hospital. In the opening ceremony, three key figures delivered opening speeches. They are Professor Lian Hongkai, president of Zhengzhou Central Hospital, Professor Liu Xianzhi, academic leading figure of neurosurgery in Henan Province, and Professor Jian Fengzeng, leader of neurospinal cord specialty in China. Further, the committee invited Professor Liu Yong, the chief expert of Chinese neurospinal lecturers, who attended the conference on site and made important instructions for the future development direction of syringomyelia. Professor Sun Guoshao and Professor Min Youhui, both chief physicians of Zhengzhou Central Hospital, also attended the meeting and served as Host for the morning session.

To medicine the conference uphold the concept of development and communication, exchange and improvement, and openness and sharing. Taking this conference as an opportunity, we hope to deepen our mutual understanding and to invite more peers to join us on the course of modern medicine. Today, more than 20 experts on neuro repair, neuro injury, syringomyelia, and cerebrospinal fluid dynamic from China and abroad gathered onsite and online and conducted In-depth dialogues and exchanges on our aspects: treatment of special diseases, cutting-edge technology, disease and society, and network communication.

After three months’ preparation, the 2nd International Conference on Psychiatry and Neurorestoratology (ICPN2022)& International Symposium on Syringomyelia and Cerebrospinal Fluid Dynamics was successfully held. Executive Chairman Lou Yongli delivered good wishes in his closing speech that “Nothing could, not even mountains and oceans, separate people with shared goals and vision.” Today, although we can only meet online, we share the same love, belief, and expectations. “Long distance separates no bosom friends.” We look forward to the continuation of our friendship, passing on from generation to generation, and becoming more sincere.
