Professor Marcus Stoodley graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School. He is Master Tutor and serves the director of Neurosurgery at Macquarie University Hospital and Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. He leads the neurosurgery research team at Macquarie University.

Research Area: Syringomyelia, cerebrospinal fluid physiology. He has developed new treatments for cerebral arteriovenous malformations, brain bypass surgery, and the treatment of moyamoya and occlusive diseases.
