Zhengzhou Central Hospital, founded in 1954, is a Grade III, Grade A, comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care. It was formerly Henan Textile Administration Joint Hospital, which was established by excellent experts of the affiliated hospitals of Shanghai East China Textile Administration from the Ministry of Central Textile Industry. In 1996, it was approved to be a tertiary, first-class general hospital and in 2011, it was listed as Zhengzhou Central Hospital affiliated to Zhengzhou University. In 2016, Zhengzhou Central Hospital Medical Group was established and now it has 453 senior titles and more than 1300 doctors and masters.
